Sam and the Family Assaad are dedicated to the spirituality and traditions of the Antiochian Orthodox Church.  They believe that in offering to God what they can, in Thanksgiving for the many blessings in creation, that humanity as a whole finds enrichment. The construction of Saints Constantine and Helen Church in Carrollton, Texas was a life-long dream that has become reality and one that builds community close to home.

Sts. Constantine and Helen broke ground on its new temple on November 16th, 2020 to add 7,400 square feet to complement the existing parish allowing for a total capacity of 454 during literagy.  The new temple, completed in 2022, seats 408 parishioners, a 45% increase in worship seating.  Additionally, it provides space for 20 choir members, 11 in and around the alter and space in the cray room for 15 individuals.

On Sunday, May 8, 2022 (Mother's Day) Sts. Constantine and Helen opened the new temple doors to the public to worship.  Following a liturgical service, members and guests were able to gather in the old church for fellowship and thanksgiving.  Although there is adequate lighting, additional custom chandelier lighting will be installed this summer. A new and improved sound system will also be installed in the fall.

Sts. Constantine and Helen Orthodox church was founded in 1978, with a mission is to serve the Orthodox in the Dallas area, and to invite the non-Orthodox to discover the historic Christian faith. The parish includes faithful Orthodox of all age groups, from many different backgrounds.

Today, under the direction of Metropolitan JOSEPH of the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America the parish serves the Orthodox in the Dallas area, and invites all non-Orthodox faiths to discover the historic Christian faith.
